Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• Working knowledge of computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications, which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.

Responsibilities

• Recruits and enrolls research subjects onto clinical research projects according to study protocols.
• Checks eligibility criteria with medical records and verifies information with staff.
• Discusses informed consent with research subjects and assists with scheduling appointments and follow-up tests.
• Learns protocol and monitors adherence, communicates issues to PI/Nurse, with growing independence.
• Extracts data from hospital records and enters into computerized systems for case report forms.
• Assists with obtaining insurance approval for participation and scheduling tests/visits.
• Assists investigator with correspondence with IRB.
