Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator I to assist in daily clinical research activities, obtain informed consent, and support data collection and specimen processing. You will help prepare IRB and grants documents and participate in study-related tasks across a major NIH initiative.

You will collect, organize, and maintain study information, coordinate visits, and contribute to data accuracy and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or closely related field.
• No experience required; one year of research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain informed consent and educate participants regarding study requirements.
• Collect and record study data and input all information into a database.
• Collect, process, deliver and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
• Assist in activities related to clinical research studies including answering calls, screening participants for eligibility, scheduling visits, and administering lifestyle questionnaires.
• Assist in IRB/GCO applications as needed.
• Maintain source documents and subject files with accurate chart reviews.
• Perform other related duties as requested.
