Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to assist daily activities of clinical studies, obtain informed consent, collect and maintain study information, and support grant-related documents.

You will help with IRB submissions, data entry, participant education, and preparation for monitoring visits, contributing to compliant, high-quality research operations at Mount Sinai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or closely related field.
• No experience required. One year of research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records study data; inputs all information into the database.
• Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision and educates participants.
• Assists with various clinical research tasks: phone screening, eligibility screening, subject registration with sponsors, and lifestyle questionnaires.
• Prepares grant applications and IRB/GCO submissions.
• Maintains source documents and subject files per hospital procedures; ensures complete data through chart reviews.
• Secures, delivers and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
• Prepares for monitoring visits.
• Performs other related duties.
