Job summary

Velocity Clinical Research in Austin, TX is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to conduct and manage clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, GCP, and Velocity SOPs. The role involves startup coordination, site visits, data handling, and cross-functional teamwork.

The candidate will ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and timely data entry while engaging with sponsors, CROs, and study staff to advance trials effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience in the life science industry or Associate’s degree with 2 years relevant experience or high school diploma with 3 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage clinical trials in accordance with the study protocol, GCP, ICH Guidelines and Velocity’s SOPs.
• Coordinate trials including start up, vendor management, subject recruitment, schedule visits, training, regulatory document collection, data entry, query resolution, and adverse event reporting.
• Implement research and administrative strategies to manage assigned protocols.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers, leadership, subjects, sponsors, CROs, and vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sponsor/Velocity information.
• Ensure patient safety and proper reporting of adverse events per protocol.
