Responsibilities

• Consents and enrolls patients for research studies and explains study details to families.
• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures and handles inquiries.
• Reviews clinical information to identify eligible participants and liaises with families.
• Coordinates follow-up visits and acts as a resource to participants.
• Prepares/assists with IRB submissions and study documentation.
• Tracks enrollment and assists with manuscripts or reports as needed.
• Coordinates with departments to ensure correct testing/processing.
• Monitors data collection and informed consent procedures for consistency.
