Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking an entry-level Clinical Research Coordinator to support human subjects research under the supervision of the PI. The role involves obtaining informed consent, coordinating participant screening, and handling data collection and documentation.

Responsibilities include assisting with grant-related submissions, maintaining trial records, and supporting regulatory activities such as IRB filings and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field preferred or a combination of relevant research experience and education
• 0-2 years of research/human subjects experience

Responsibilities

• Conducts routine and standardized human subjects research under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator or senior clinical research staff.
• Assists in the activities related to clinical research including informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, registering patients with sponsoring agencies, administering questionnaires and answering telephone calls.
• Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.
• Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures, ensuring accurate, confidential and complete data compilation.
• May secure and ship clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
• May assist in the preparation for regulatory agency site visits.
• Performs other related duties.
