Job summary

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ seeks an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator to support breast and cutaneous trials. You will assist with protocol coordination, informed consent, data entry, and quality data management under RN supervision, in a patient-focused oncology research setting.

Primary responsibilities include screening, enrollment, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Workdays are typically Monday to Friday, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in healthcare, research, or related field required.
• Two years of research or healthcare experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory affairs and current issues in clinical research.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Ability to perform data entry and use department databases.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research protocols including scheduling with study participants.
• Maintain calendars, screen and enroll participants per protocol.
• Obtain informed consent per GCP and SOPs.
• Collect data using Cerner and other databases; enter data accurately.
• Maintain and update research databases and logs; generate reports as needed.
• Assist in training staff and support audits/monitoring activities.
• May backup phlebotomy and vital signs as required.
