Job summary

Penn State University seeks an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator for the Healthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) study in the Family and Community Medicine department. You will oversee recruitment, consent, scheduling, data collection, and coordination of visits for a longitudinal birth cohort involving pregnant women, children, and families.

The role entails managing study operations, data quality, and collaboration with internal departments and external partners to advance health

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting human subjects research.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a health or social services research-related field.
• Experience with research data collection and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project operations (budgets, timelines, SOPs, reporting).
• Coordinate contracts and community outreach for recruitment and retention.
• Supervise study staff and onboard volunteers/interns.
• Conduct onsite research activities including neuroimaging, MRI, EEG, and developmental assessments.
• Ensure data quality and fidelity to protocols; manage safety standards and study governance.
