Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator to support Phase Ib/IIa proof-of-concept trials in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ CRO experience, hands-on phlebotomy, and a strong foundation in ICH-GCP and FDA regulations.

You will screen, consent, enroll participants, perform phlebotomy, maintain source documents, and collaborate with investigators and nurses to drive study success in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Hands-on phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience working directly with patients in clinical or research settings.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting Phase I–II trials.
• Certifications such as CCRC/CCRP/Phlebotomy/MA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day conduct of Phase Ib/IIa proof-of-concept clinical trials.
• Collaborate closely with Investigators, Sub-Investigators, nurses, and project managers to ensure successful study execution.
• Screen, consent, enroll, and schedule study participants according to protocol requirements.
• Perform and assist with phlebotomy procedures and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate source documentation, regulatory files, and case report forms (CRFs).
• Assist with study start-up activities, regulatory submissions, and site maintenance.
• Manage study supplies, laboratory kits, specimen processing, handling, and shipping.
• Track patient recruitment, retention, and study metrics.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, ICH-GCP guidelines, and FDA regulations.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $68000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
