Job summary

DelRicht Research in Hendersonville, TN (with 20% travel/flex to Smyrna) is hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator. The role focuses on high-quality patient care, accurate visit adherence, and strong sponsor communication.

You will perform IM injections, enter data across systems, and be the primary on-site contact for sponsors and CROs. Base salary ranges from $60,000 to $67,000, with benefits and 401(k) planned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of professional experience in medical or clinical settings.
• Preferred CMA, RMA, CCMA, or RN/LPN nursing license.
• Preferred B.S./B.A. from an accredited university.
• Experience in patient-facing or healthcare roles.
• Experience in on-site, customer-facing environments.
• Coffee drinkers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care and a positive clinic experience.
• Complete patient visits accurately and per protocol.
• Enroll and retain patients in clinical studies.
• Perform intramuscular injections safely and accurately.
• Enter clinical data across medical record systems.
• Serve as main contact for sponsors and CROs for all trials.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with sponsors and onsite teams.
• Ensure physicians receive timely protocol updates.

Clinical Research Coordinator’s Main Objective:

Overall, the Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for providing quality, excellent patient care and a great experience for our patients in our clinical research studies:

• Patients have a fun, positive and comfortable experience throughout their time in our clinic


• Patient visits are completed accurately and efficiently, with 100% adherence to clinical trial protocols


• Patient enrollment and retention activities are executed with focus and follow-through


• Perform intramuscular (IM) injections safely and accurately


• Clinical data is entered accurately and on time across various medical record systems and platforms


• Lead and main point of contact for Pharmaceutical Sponsors and Contract Research Organizations for all clinical trials


• Ensuring sponsors and clients have amazing customer service when they are onsite at our clinic and assuring we are always providing clear, constant communication with them when they are off site


• Physicians receive timely patient and protocol updates that reinforce confidence in the site team

Skills needed to win:

• Required: 1+ of professional experience, ideally in a medical or clinical environment


• Preferred: Active medical assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or nursing (VN, LPN, or RN) license


• Preferred: B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university


• Preferred: Professional experience in a patient-facing or healthcare position


• Preferred: Experience in an on-site, customer-facing role


• Coffee drinkers preferred. Tea drinkers accepted.
