Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a Clinical Research Assistant working from our Phoenix, AZ office location, with a start date on or before July 24, 2025.

The Clinical Research Assistant is an entry-level position that provides administrative support to the assigned study team. This role will spend the most time receiving, processing, and logging clinical specimens according to departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and quality standards. Under the guidance of the Clinical Research Project Manager, the Clinical Research Assistant will also maintain a database that records details of clinical trial shipments. In collaboration with the Clinical Research Associates, they will help plan, order, track, and distribute clinical trial supplies to study sites. Additionally, the role includes day-to-day tasks that support the organization of samples and kits, such as making, shipping, and distributing kits as needed, as well as maintaining and updating various databases and trackers. This position works closely with other Clinical Research Assistants to ensure smooth study operations and consistent support for the study team.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience required.
    • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field () or demonstrated experience as evidence of competency
    • Familiarity with research and development processes .
    • Previous experience receiving, processing, and sorting samples .

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time 5 days a week in-office, Monday - Friday 40 hours a week. Based in our Phoenix, AZ office.
  • Occasional travel up to 10%
