Job summary

Nira Medical is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support sponsor billing, collections, payment reconciliation, and related financial activities. This role focuses on clinical research sponsor billing and will partner with Clinical Operations, Finance, and Accounting to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), healthcare finance, clinical research finance, accounts receivable, medical billing, or related field.
Experience managing billing, collections, payment reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement efficient workflows.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and high-volume communication.

Responsibilities

Prepare, submit, and manage sponsor invoices based on clinical trial agreements, budgets, payment milestones, and terms.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up with sponsors to ensure timely collections.
Manage high-volume email communication with sponsors and internal stakeholders.
Reconcile sponsor payments to bank deposits and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with revenue journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close documentation.
Maintain accurate billing records within CRIO and other systems.
