Job summary

Indiana University’s BRANCH Lab seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support longitudinal studies on substance use, mental health, and health outcomes. You will assist with participant recruitment, screening, and informed consent; conduct visits in person and virtually; administer questionnaires; and help manage data and study records under supervision.

The role offers hands-on experience in clinical research, collaboration with the PI, and exposure to regulatory practices across two studies,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 5 years patient-related or research experience.
• Associate's degree in allied health plus 1 year patient-related/research experience.
• Bachelor's degree in science or health-related field.
• Bachelor's degree in any field + 3 years science + 2 years patient-related/research experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of study protocols and data collection.
• Recruit and screen participants, obtain informed consent per IRB.
• Conduct in-person and virtual visits and administer research questionnaires.
• Maintain study documentation and enter data into databases.
• Coordinate with PI and staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
