Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a Research Assistant to coordinate a National Cancer Institute-funded randomized trial of an online behavioral intervention for adults with breast cancer on endocrine therapy. The role centers on phone-based recruitment, data entry, and collaboration with community cancer care sites across Colorado.

Candidates should have a BA in Psychology, strong writing, and basic statistical or programming skills (REDCap, SPSS, Qualtrics), with

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience working with anxiety, depression, medication adherence, or psycho-oncology research and populations.
• Be willing to commit to a one-year appointment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, enroll and complete participant activities for one or more research studies
• Use EMR software (EPIC and McKesson) to pre-screen patients at collaborating centers
• Communicate study information to collaborating medical staff
• Provide technical support for study devices, surveys or online programs
• Develop and implement SOPs for research protocols and ensure compliance
• Attend meetings; report recruitment updates and completion statistics
• Assist in creating and maintaining project databases and enter data
• Assist in organizing research data for presentations, papers, and grant applications
• Submit amendments and reportable events to the IRB and oversight bodies
• Oversee lab supplies, scheduling, and equipment maintenance
• Ensure compliance with policies on student engagement in research
• Oversee student/volunteer research assistants and maintain team cohesion
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
