Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is hiring a full-time Clinical Research Assistant for the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) study. The role involves consenting participants, coordinating visits, and running behavioral assessments, EEGs and MRIs with infants and young children.

Qualified candidates will have excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills, and experience with pregnant people or young children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent with related research coursework or experience.
• Experience with pregnant people, infants, or young children is preferred.
• Experience conducting behavioral assessments, MRIs or EEGs is desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Consent participants and coordinate visits for the study.
• Run data collection visits with infants and young children.
• Conduct behavioral assessments, EEGs and MRIs during visits.
• Prepare, process and clean materials for each research visit.
• Handle data, filing, copying, and data entry as needed.
• Attend weekly laboratory staff meetings with PIs and senior staff.
