Columbia University in the City of the City of New York's Division of Movement Disorders is seeking a Research Assistant to support clinical studies and patient interactions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves data collection, regulatory submissions, data entry, and collaboration with physicians and administrators to advance movement disorders research, with travel and weekend work as needed.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 1.5 years of related experience.
• Preferred: experience with Excel and SPSS.
• Fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee recruitment and consent for PD, MSA, SCA, ET studies.
• Adhere to GCP and regulatory guidelines for clinical research.
• Enter data into electronic case report forms and databases.
• Analyze data using Excel and SPSS; prepare reports.
• Collect biological samples per protocol requirements.
• Assist with IRB submissions and manuscript/grant writing.
• Conduct study visits and cognitive assessments as outlined in protocol.
• Support division-wide operations of the clinical research core.
• Attend outreach events and occasional travel as needed.
