Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Principal Investigator and cross-functional teams to facilitate daily activities and ensure protocol compliance.
  • Support recruitment and enrollment of participants, including coordinating visit schedules and logistics.
  • Organize and maintain all study documents; perform data entry, data verification, and quality control.
  • Assist in preparing detailed reports on study progress and findings.
  • Maintain clinical supplies for the study.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Clinical Research Assistant with hands-on experience in accurately measuring blood pressure using auscultatory method, following clinical standards and best practices. This skill is essential for study activities and will be a key responsibility in this role.

The candidate with support the implementation of human research study activities sponsored by our client, in accordance with the approved protocols, applicable regulatory regulations and GCP guidelines. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate activities related to one or more research projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately measure and record blood pressure using auscultatory methods as part of study procedures
  • Work with the Principal Investigator and cross-functional teams to facilitate daily activities and comply with research protocols
  • Supports the recruitment and enrollment of study participants, including coordinating visit schedules and assisting with logistical arrangements
  • Organization and maintenance of all research study documents including data entry, routine data verification and quality control
  • Assists in preparation of detailed reports surrounding study, study progress and findings
  • Maintain clinical supplies for the study assign
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Competency in taking blood pressure using auscultatory methods, following clinical standards and best practices
  • Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and HIPAA regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision, and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Prior hands-on experience in a clinical research assistant or similar role is required, including direct involvement in participant recruitment and enrollment
  • A degree in a medical-related or science field is preferred but not required if the candidate demonstrates sufficient experience and competence in performing study-related tasks.

Contract: Until the end of the year with possible extension

Hours approximately: 40

Location: Irvine, CA

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Hourly Rate: $30-$40 hourly

Schedule: 8 hour shift
