Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Research & Laboratory staff member to provide ongoing data management for local and national research studies under supervision of Investigator(s).

The role involves data entry, QA/QC, recruitment and enrollment of participants, consent, regulatory support, and preparation for sponsor audits, with potential phlebotomy and basic patient care as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in medical or science related field or Bachelor's Degree medical or science related field and no prior experience.
• 2 years experience with High School Diploma or 1 Year Experience With Associate's Degree Preferred
• (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT may be required based on affiliate location requirements.
• (CPRAED) CPR AED may be required based on affiliate location requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into case report forms and maintain study documentation.
• Review medical records for eligibility criteria.
• Recruit and enroll patients in research studies.
• Obtain consent and conduct study procedures under supervision.
• Perform phlebotomy, vital signs, and EKGs as needed.
• Assist with QA/QC and data queries for accuracy.
• Assist with regulatory submissions and IRB preparations.
