The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) seeks a Clinical Research Assistant I to support the Consortium for Defense Psychology (CDP) in Bethesda, MD.

The role provides lab and clinical support, helping senior staff execute behavioral health research and training initiatives. Responsibilities include recruiting participants, implementing protocols, data management, and coordinating with clinical teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of human-subjects research procedures.
• Ability to work independently at an off-site clinical location.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Mansioni

• Supports multiple behavioral health studies conducted by the Consortium for Defense Psychology.
• Supports day-to-day implementation of research protocols (recruitment, screening, enrollment, scheduling, tracking, follow-up).
• Conducts informed consent per IRB-approved procedures.
• Works ~50% on-site at the Joint Base Andrews mental health clinic (MD).
• Serves as on-site point of contact and coordinates with staff to facilitate study operations.
• Maintains relationships with clinic leadership and coordinates activities to minimize disruption to clinical ops.
• Assists with recruitment of eligible participants and materials.
• Collects, enters, organizes, and reviews research data and maintains databases and records.
• Maintains accurate study documentation and regulatory files.
