Job summary

Profound Research in Pasadena is seeking an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support day-to-day execution of clinical trials and patient interactions. You’ll learn by doing, gaining hands-on experience in study coordination, data collection, and clinical procedures while contributing to meaningful patient care.

You'll work alongside experienced staff at our site to ensure compliant, audit-ready study conduct. A fast-paced, team-based environment and a commitment to ethics are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of life sciences experience with a degree, or 1+ year with an Associate's degree, or a Bachelor's with relevant coursework.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures is a plus.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment and learn new systems quickly.
• ICH-GCP and IATA certification required within defined timeframe after hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate active clinical trials: patient visits, scheduling, and study procedures.
• Assist with data collection and documentation following rigorous standards.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen processing.
• Interact with study participants, explaining visit steps and offering support.
• Collaborate with CR Coordinators and site leadership, seeking feedback and learning.
• Contribute to audit-ready site by following SOPs and Good Documentation Practices.
