Job summary

Alcanza Clinical Research in the Birmingham area is seeking a Research Assistant to support clinical staff across multiple sites in Alabama. The RA assists with screening, enrollment, data entry in EDC, vital signs, and specimen handling under GCP and HIPAA guidelines.

In collaboration with CRCs and investigators, you will help schedule visits, maintain logs, and ensure timely study documentation while upholding data integrity and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma and 1 year of administrative / clinical experience is required.
• 1 year or more years of clinical research or clinical experience is preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRCs with screening and enrollment.
• Enter data in EDC and respond to queries.
• Obtain vital signs and ECGs; may perform blood draws.
• Schedule visits; maintain logs and charts; HIPAA compliant.
