Job summary

CenExel Clinical Research is hiring a Research Assistant I to support Clinical Research Coordinators in protocol-specific goals. Work primarily on-site with a Wednesday–Sunday schedule (3:00 pm–11:30 pm) and training shifts an initial two to three weeks.

Duties include charting, visits prep, inventory, data entry, and monitoring visits. Ideal candidates have strong computer skills, meticulous record maintenance, and clear communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Interest in and knowledge of specific study indications.
• Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of electronic equipment.
• Skilled in organization and record maintenance.
• Strong personal initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
• Clear oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining patient charts for all assigned studies.
• Preparing participant visits based on CRC's schedule and ensuring source documents are complete.
• Maintaining inventory of study-specific supplies.
• Timely data entry and query resolution for CRFs.
• Assisting Coordinators with assessments and scheduling tasks.
• Facilitating study monitoring visits and other duties as assigned.
