Job summary

ECN Operating LLC seeks a Research Assistant to support clinical studies with administrative, technical, and participant-focused tasks under supervision of the CRC and Principal Investigator.

The role ensures high-quality data collection, regulatory compliance, and participant safety, assisting with study materials, scheduling, data entry into eCRFs, and adherence to GCP, HIPAA, and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a health sciences, biology, psychology, or related field preferred.
• Previous healthcare or research setting experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical trials, GCP, HIPAA, and human subjects research regulations desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems; experience with EDC or CTMS systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare study materials, source documents, and regulatory binders.
• Support participant screening, recruitment, and scheduling in accordance with protocols.
• Maintain accurate participant logs and assist in tracking enrollment progress.
• Ensure study areas, supplies, and equipment are organized for visits.
• Record data from source documents into eCRFs or databases.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in resolving data queries and ensuring timely data entry.
• Support document management, filing, and archiving per regulatory requirements.
• Greet participants and assist during visits; support informed consent process.
• Follow GCP and institutional policies; assist audits and monitoring.
