Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant to support the Principal Investigator with the development and implementation of research activities in our pediatric programs, including subject recruitment, consent, data entry and analysis. This full-time, hybrid role schedules Monday–Friday (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required, with Spanish language skills preferred.

Purpose Statement/Position Summary

The Clinical Research Assistant assists Principal Investigator with the development and implementation of research activities conducted in the enterprise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: subject recruitment, consenting families, assisting with research, data entry and analysis, grant preparation, professional presentations and preparation of manuscripts for publication.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience

Ability to accurately enter data into the computer system. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet skills required. Basic filing, typing and organizing skills. Ability to speak and understand Spanish preferred.

Education/Licensure/Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in related scientific field preferred. Certified clinical research associate/coordinator preferred.

Pay Scale Information

$47,840.00-$56,576.00
