Hillcrest Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Pittsfield, MA seeks an experienced Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator. You will manage MDS processes, coordinate Medicare/long-term care assessments, and work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and compliant charting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate MDS completion per regulations.
• Review Medicare charts for coverage and documentation needs.
• Lead team meetings to discuss care planning.
• Provide information to Medicare intermediaries and Mass Pro.
• Perform PRI tasks and supply PEN Therapy forms as required.
• Monitor bed use documentation and reporting.
• Support the Director of Nursing with assigned duties.

• Pay or shift range: $80,000 USD to $95,680 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

As a clinical reimbursement coordinator, you will manage all aspects of the MDS process including Medicare and long term care assessments, scheduling and completion and works closely with clinical and administrative staff regarding Medicare admissions. Responsible for resident chart audits and reports to Nursing
Administration.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensures accurate MDS completion in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Review Medicare charts to determine coverage, communication on aspects of care to staff for documentation.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss care planning.
• Provide information as requested to Medicare intermediate, Mass Pro, or other insurance providers.
• Do PRI's when requested.
• Provide PEN Therapy usage forms monthly and certifications as required for gastrostomy feedings.
• monitor necessary documentation for bed use.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee.
