Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• Licensed Speech Therapist in the state; maintain licensure.

• CPR certification if required by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine speech therapy needs, functional limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognition, and functional independence.
• Supervise CFY – Speech Clinical Fellows and students, if applicable.
• Communicate progress to physicians, nursing staff, residents, and families.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per regulations and policies.
