Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Rehab Specialist develops educational and community activities to support awareness and utilization of rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include program development, quality improvement, and collaboration with referral sources and hospital staff.

Key duties include acting as a coordinator between internal and external referral sources, establishing relationships with case managers, physicians, and payers, and ensuring appropriate patient placement through clinical assessments.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program with at least 2 years of recent clinical care experience.
  • Licensed professional (RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist).
  • Current state licensure or eligible for transfer.
  • BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.
  • Pass FIM credentialing within 90 days of hire, maintain certification.
  • Preferred: CRRN certification or achievement within 2 years, clinical inpatient rehab experience, Bachelor's degree, and specific licensure.
