Job summary

Responsibilities include calibration, plan verification, dose checks, imaging, and SRS planning. A Master’s in Medical Physics and 1 year of clinical experience are required; strong communication and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Medical Physics or related field.
• 1 year of clinical medical physics experience or completion of an approved residency program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Periodic calibration of radiation generators and QA of equipment and systems.
• Treatment planning for IMRT/3DCRT, plan verification, physics calculations and chart checks.
• Dose verification, in vivo dosimetry, and planning of special procedures.
• Planning and QA for stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife and LINAC-based SRS, proton radiotherapy, brachytherapy).
• Second-check of shielding calculations and teaching roles.
