Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a current RN license in Texas; a BSN is preferred.
• Minimum five years of hands-on acute care clinical experience.
• At least one year with data management or quality committee experience preferred.
• Able to apply performance improvement principles to varied problems.
• Able to read and interpret medical records and hospital policies.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and the public.
• Able to graph data to aid performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collect clinical data for performance improvement or patient safety activities.
• Analyze data to detect patterns and trends in care delivery.
• Identify root causes and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Train and educate staff on quality practices and regulatory requirements.
