Base pay will be determined by experience and skills. The role may include bonuses. Temporary associates may participate in the 401(k) plan but are not benefits-eligible.

Responsibilities

Under the Legal Department, the Director enhances a culture of quality care, promotes compliance, and leads peer review initiatives at senior living communities, including:

• Conducting peer review visits focusing on quality standards and compliance
• Assessing risks and reporting findings to Legal
• Reviewing regulatory surveys and preparing for peer reviews
• Collaborating on quality initiatives
• Staying updated on best practices and regulations
• Reporting findings confidentially
• Leading internal investigations as needed

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Nursing; RN license preferred
• At least 5 years in senior living, preferably in peer review or related roles
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality

Certifications & Licenses:

Active nursing license preferred. Significant travel (75-85%) required; a valid driver’s license is necessary. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Decision Making & Physical Demands

Uses independent judgment for peer reviews and investigations. Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 25 pounds, and travel.
