Description

We are seeking a capable Clinical Quality Coordinator who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.

  • Responsible to gain an understanding of the rules & regulations and structural understanding of internal & external metrics-produce data.
  • Responsible for data collection, presentation and dissemination, registry/regulatory compliance and publicly reported data.
  • Will use data to drive improvement to identify performance opportunities in data analysis, team facilitation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Health Data Analytics: Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (understanding data abstraction specifications) Acquire data from source systems Design data collection plans for KPIs Integrate data from internal and external electronic systems Use statistical and visualization methods
  • Patient Safety: Identify and report patient safety risks and events Collaborate to analyze patient safety risks and events
  • Quality Review & Accountability: Execute measure requirements Facilitate practitioner performance review activities
  • Performance and Process Improvement: Apply procedures for the governance of data assets (fielding data requests) Implement standard PPI methods.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Nursing. Minimum five years of experience working in a complex healthcare work environment.
  • Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • CPHQ preferred. Knowledge of Quality Improvement Methodology, Data Collection and Analysis and Improvement techniques.
  • Position specific experience or certification may be preferred based on various additional duties.
