Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a Psychometrist to support clinical psychologists with the administration and scoring of psychological and neuropsychological tests in outpatient and inpatient settings.

You will review patient charts, conduct brief interviews, prepare data for interpretation, and assist with testing materials, training, and process improvements while ensuring confidentiality and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, social work, or nursing with relevant coursework.
• One year in a healthcare setting preferred; psychometrist certification is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administers and scores a broad range of psychological and neuropsychological tests.
• Reviews charts, gathers clinical information, and reports to the psychologist.
• Explains testing procedures to patients and families and coordinates appointments.
• Participates in process improvements and staff training within Behavioral Health.
• Maintains documentation for insurance payments and coding information.
