The Chicago School in Los Angeles is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in our APA accredited Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) program. Faculty share theoretical and practical knowledge, guide students through the relevant empirical literature, and encourage direct application to the workplace within the field of clinical psychology.

Adjunct professors are expected to be available for timely grading, office hours, and responsive communication.

Qualificações

• Doctoral degree required.
• Graduate of an APA accredited program (if degree is in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology).
• Psychologist licensed or license eligible (for teaching clinically related courses).
• Strong commitment to academic excellence, diversity, community service, and scholarship.
• Expertise, professional experience, specific training, advanced education, or scholarship in the specific area of instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Teach courses by sharing theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject, guiding students through the relevant empirical literature base, and encouraging application to the workplace.
• Availability for timely grading of assignments and providing quality feedback.
• Availability outside of regular class meetings (office hours) to address students' questions and concerns.
