Job summary

CHAMINADE UNIVERSITY OF HONOLULU invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology in the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology program. This 11-month, full-time position is based in Honolulu, HI, and will teach graduate courses and advise students in the PsyD program.

The faculty member will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, accreditation, and student activities, including office hours, committee work, and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology.
• Licensed or license-eligible as Clinical Psychologist in Hawaii.
• Ability to teach a variety of psychology and counseling psychology courses.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Teach 18 credit hours per academic year (graduate courses).
• Provide comprehensive academic advising and mentorship.
• Provide dissertations and student research advising.
• Participate in University, School, and Department committees; accreditation efforts.
• Engage in program assessment, curriculum development, and grant writing.
• Develop scholarship through publications and conference presentations.
