Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services on Long Island, NY is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to administer evaluations and develop social histories for children in home, school-based, or clinic settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support individualized goals and participate in IFSP/IEP planning when appropriate.

• Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
• Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.

Job Responsibilities for a Clinical Psychologist:

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate: Per evaluation $130.00-$350.00
Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during theClinical Psychologist Job interview process.
