Clinical Psychologist VIII, SR‑30: $7,952.00 – $9,675.00 per month. New external applicants start at the initial step of the salary range; placement above the initial step depends on special characteristics, critical needs, exceptional qualifications, available funds, and other factors. Hawaii State Department of Education employees are placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations.
Within two years of appointment as a Clinical Psychologist V or higher, the applicant must meet the licensing requirements and obtain a license issued by the Hawaii State Board of Psychology, as required by Chapter 465, HRS. Failure to obtain the license within two years will result in termination from State service.
Some positions require a current, valid Driver’s License.
