Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position offers a competitive package including comprehensive insurance and benefits.

The role requires clinical licensure in at least one US state and APA-accredited doctoral training. The psychologist will review mental health history, document electronically, and forward exams to the VA for disability determinations.

Qualifications

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one US state.
• Board certification or 2-year residency in psychiatry/neurology acceptable for specialists.
• PhD or PsyD in Psychology with adult-focused training (Clinical, Counseling, or School).
• Doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Review mental health history and perform one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses during the exam via web-based forms; complete documentation electronically.
• Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.
• Common assessment topics include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
