Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology (or equivalent) required.
• Specialized experience in clinical psychology within corrections is preferred.
• Education cannot be substituted for specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate inpatient therapeutic programming.
• Provide clinical supervision of subordinate clinical staff.
• Develop individualized cognitive behavioral treatment plans/interventions for incarcerated persons.
• Facilitate individual and group cognitive behavioral psychotherapy for the target population.
• Apply current literature and research on cognitive behavioral interventions and program evaluations.
