Job description

Sterling Behavioral Health Services is a dynamic, mission-driven behavioral health, fully telehealth office dedicated to providing patients with effective mental health care. We are looking for a licensed and board certified provider for conducting psychological testing. Must be licensed in Virginia.

Role Overview:
  • The Clinical Psychologist/Psychologist with PsyD will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, including administering and interpreting standardized mental health tests, to diagnose and understand a range of mental health concerns.
  • This position will work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care and treatment plans for clients.
  • The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including administering and interpreting a variety of standardized tests (e.g., personality, cognitive, behavioral).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in psychological assessment and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities.
  • Supply detailed notes and documentation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment techniques and standardized tests.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical judgment skills.
  • Must be licensed to practice in the state of Virginia unsupervised.
