About the Role

Galileo is looking for a culturally sensitive and thoughtful therapist to join us part-time as part of our digital-first, primary‑care medical group. You will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor in this role to deliver therapy to a diverse patient population.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Provide integrated behavioral health care among a team of primary and specialty care providers with attention to clinical quality and patient‑centricity
• Maintain a caseload of patients in which you’ll conduct 30 to 45 minute therapy sessions for Galileo patients residing in a state of licensure with set blocks of time to support Galileo patients each week

We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

• 5+ years experience with providing teletherapy (text‑based, video, phone) and integrating technology and data into practice/care provision
• Trained with evidence‑based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness‑based cognitive therapy (MBCT)
• Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks
• Licensed and credentialed to support patients with clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma
• A doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) is required
• Active license in MD required. Additional licenses in OR, CA, TN, TX, MA, and/or PsyPact is a plus.
• It’s a bonus if you are professionally fluent in Spanish including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting

Compensation

Hourly rate equivalent to up to $130,000 annually for MD based therapists, with compensation prorated to your part‑time schedule. Dependent on licensure, we may be able to offer up a schedule of up to 24 hours/week.
