Job summary

University Health seeks a Clinical Psychologist for Lakewood Counseling in Lees Summit, MO. This full-time role runs 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 40 hours/week, with opportunities for group work and clinical supervision.

You will conduct assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and provide education to staff and community partners within a multidisciplinary team.

Missouri licensure or eligibility is required; Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology is required.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology (required).
• Licensed in Missouri as a Psychologist or license-eligible.
• Knowledge of psychological terminology, diagnosis & treatment.
• Ability to conduct psychotherapy with diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to function in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention, assessment & diagnosis.
• Perform psychotherapy, psychological testing, and evaluations.
• Offer consultations and educational presentations.
• Engage in clinical supervision and staff training.
• Contribute to research activities as appropriate.
• Interface with internal and external service providers.
