Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Three or more years of post-Masters experience preferred.
• Current professional license per state regulations/requirements.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Performs psychological assessments, testing, and evaluation based on a physician’s order for services.
• Provides diagnosis based on assessments, testing, and evaluation with reports for diagnostic clarification.
• Develops and implements patient care plans based on clinical expertise and outcomes.
• Evaluates and monitors patient outcomes using current guidelines and protocols.
• Provides psychotherapy services (individual, family, and group) and participates in treatment reviews.
• Collaborates with clinical staff in assessment, treatment planning, and patient progress reviews.
• Assists with milieu management and supervises unit-based programming for coping skills and safety.
• Completes clinical documentation within 72 hours of patient contact in proper formats.
