Job summary

Southwest Behavioral & Health Services, Phoenix, seeks a Clinical Psychologist to provide solution-focused and strength-based mental health services. The role includes testing, intakes, assessments, and treatment planning for a full caseload of members receiving mental health and/or substance abuse services.

The position offers supervision to doctoral students, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and ongoing education opportunities.

Job Preview at a Glance:

The Clinical Psychologist is an exciting position where no one day is the same! This staff member delivers solution-focused and strength-based services to a caseload of members receiving mental health and/or substance abuse services. The Clinical Psychologist provides testing, intakes, assessments, treatment planning and 1:1 psychiatric support.

Location and Schedule:

The role is at the Metro OP Clinic, located off the I-17 and Peoria Ave.Staff provide services Monday through Friday, during standard business hours.Clinical Psychologist’s do not work weekends, evenings or holidays.

The Clinical Psychologist starts at $75,000/ annually.

Support:

The Clinical Psychologist report to a Licensed Clinical Program Director and Coordinator, and also have expert Leads for additional mentorship. Staff receive free 1:1 clinical supervision, and are a part of a supportive interdisciplinary team which meets bi-weekly. This position is invited to an array of on-going, in-house education opportunities regarding cultural competency and modality building skills.Additionally, staff can receive tuition and certification reimbursement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide intakes, clinical assessment and psychological testing.


• Develop treatment plans in conjunction with team members.


• Provide therapy and/or clinical case management for a full caseload of members.


• Conduct SMI determinations/evaluations.


• Complete required documentation in accordance with SBH standards.


• Provide clinical supervision to doctoral level psychology students.


• Supervise and sign off on completed assessments and intakes as a Clinical Liaison.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.


• Doctoral Degree in Psychology


• 1 year of full-time behavioral health experience preferred


• Independently licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.


• Level I fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire (as required per program requirements)
