Job description

Your new role

As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join in our efforts to provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities.

What you’ll do

• Provide evaluations
• Establish differential diagnoses (e.g., Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, vascular)
• Conduct cognitive assessments
• Deliver condition‑specific support therapy or insight‑based therapy when indicated
• Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and GuideStar colleagues, and engage with family as indicated

What you’ll need to succeed

• An active state psychologist license
• Passion for the geriatric population
• Interest in neuro‑behavioral science
• Desire to make a difference in populations with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders
• HSPP preferred in applicable states
