Job summary

The Center for Discovery in Torrance, CA is seeking a part-time Program Therapist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team. You will provide therapy sessions, facilitate groups, conduct assessments, ensure safety, and support discharge planning within the clinical model.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Doctorate in a relevant field, an active license, and 2 years of mental health experience; experience with eating disorders is preferred. On-site schedule is 3 days per week, 11am–7pm.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in relevant field is required.
• Holds active state license.
• Two years of experience in the mental health field preferred.
• Driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains timely clinical documentation.
• Establishes therapeutic rapport with patients and families.
• Facilitates admission assessments and the admission process.
• Provides therapy sessions and group therapy (psychoeducational and process-oriented).
• Completes discharge planning and coordinates with referral sources.
