Job summary

Lifepoint Behavioral Health in Winchester, TN seeks a Behavioral Health Clinical Program Therapist / Social Worker to join a multidisciplinary team on Behavioral Health Units. Provide independent psychiatric care, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation within a biopsychosocial model.

Requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, state licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC/I/LPC/LMFT preferred), and at least 1 year of experience. ASLS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or equivalent Professional Counseling.
• LMSW, LCSW, LPC-I, LPC, LMFT licensure preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the discipline preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, and deliver curriculum to meet the psychological needs of patients.
• Lead multidisciplinary treatment planning with patient and family involvement.
• Stabilize psychiatric crises and promote biopsychosocial treatment approaches.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up with patients, family, physician, and hospital staff.
• Refer patients and families to community, social services, home health, and rehab facilities; document in medical records.
• Prepare statistical reports and participate in billing procedures; provide staff education on resource utilization and discharge planning.
• Facilitate group psychotherapy and psychoeducational focus groups for patients and families.
• Offer brief individual, group, and family therapy; crisis intervention and referrals as needed.
• Review treatment progress and update interventions with the care team.
