The Nevada Division of CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES (DCFS) is hiring a Clinical Program Planner I to support the Planning and Evaluation Unit (PEU). This role involves performing and supervising planning and analytical functions related to clinical programs within the Department of Health and Human Services, including quality improvement, program design, policy development, evaluation, research, and strategic planning.
The position supervises quality assurance, program evaluation, and contract administration for large, multi-component programs, potentially regional or statewide. The incumbent utilizes a System of Care approach, integrating clinical service delivery into planning and data analysis to enhance service effectiveness and quality. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance, supporting network expansion, supervising staff, conducting research, developing policies and standards, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with federal and state laws regarding youth services.
Applicants must have a master's degree in a social science or health-related field with clinical intervention coursework and two years of professional clinical experience in mental health or intellectual disability services.
