Job summary

Axle is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to join our team supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Cancer Institute (NCI) in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on clinical trial program management, data management, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet project objectives.

You will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate activities, develop SOPs, and monitor progress against milestones, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Clinical trial project management experience.
• Previous project management experience and/or clinical trial management including data management.
• Field of Study: Biology.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft software applications (Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a busy setting, both independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with area of clinical trials preferably in the field of Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services to satisfy the operational objectives of the NCI/DCTD.
• Support clinical trial management and data management activities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows and reporting for the project.
• Collaborate with CTEP, IDB, CDP and RAB staff to ensure correlative work is identified.
