Axle seeks a Clinical Operations Manager to support the NIH NIAID in Rockville, MD. The role requires a Bachelor's in a related discipline and at least seven years of relevant experience, with strong program, protocol, and budget management skills.

Ideal candidates are proficient in MS Office and SharePoint, and able to coordinate with DMID staff on procedural standards, data/document quality, and reporting across ongoing clinical studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in program and protocol management and budget tracking; proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with DMID staff to develop standardized procedures for organizing clinical studies/trials logistics.
• Assist staff with development, collection and quality review of essential clinical studies documents and entry into DMID databases.
• Track development of monitoring plans and status of data/safety reviewers.
• Meet with program staff regularly to provide reports on project status and receive new assignments.
• Assist on special projects requiring immediate action.
• Plan and coordinate meetings with program staff and attendees; take and prepare minutes.
• Assist with clinical project management for ESTIB.
• Inventory, review, organize and file all low resource clinical study documents.
