Clinical Program Manager – Mental Health / IOP

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Program Manager to lead the launch of a new Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) serving youth and young adults in a nonprofit therapy and education environment.

This is a unique opportunity to build something from the ground up—design programming, lead a multidisciplinary team, and make a lasting impact on underserved communities.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and oversee a new IOP from the ground up, including staffing, clinical workflows, and outcomes tracking
• Supervise and support a team of therapists and clinical staff, providing coaching, compliance oversight, and clinical direction
• Ensure adherence to best practices and licensing standards (DMH, DHCS, HIPAA)
• Provide direct client care as needed (individual, group, family therapy)
• Partner with executive leadership on strategy, quality improvement, and community outreach
• Lead insurance authorization, utilization review, and crisis response processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Licensed as LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD in California (license must be in good standing)
• 5+ years of post-licensure experience in mental health or behavioral healthcare
• 3+ years of clinical management experience—program oversight, supervision, and coordination
• Strong background in working with adolescents and young adults
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices including DBT, CBT, ACT, or ABA
• Experience in IOP, PHP, school-based, or community mental health settings strongly preferred
